Most appointments are available the same day with the clinician who will treat you. Medication can be prescribed at that visit when clinically appropriate. Starting treatment, continuing an existing prescription, or transferring from another provider all begin with a clinical evaluation.

We support reducing use or quitting, including patients transferring care, leaving inpatient treatment, or returning from incarceration. Alcohol withdrawal requiring detox care is referred elsewhere.
Grata serves adults in every county in Pennsylvania. Appointments are online, and delivery is available statewide. These are service areas; you do not need to travel to a Grata office.

Grata accepts Straight Pennsylvania Medicaid (fee-for-service Medical Assistance). Care is $0 with accepted Medicaid coverage. Medicaid managed-care plans are not currently accepted.
Medication delivery takes 1–2 business days from prescribing, for first prescriptions and refills. Shipping is covered. If you need medication sooner, we can send the prescription to a local pharmacy for pickup, subject to availability, and arrange delivery for later prescriptions. You can change your preferred pharmacy in the patient portal.
No. Therapy and peer support are not prerequisites for medication treatment. Therapy is not yet offered by Grata in Pennsylvania.

Yes. We accept patients already taking medication, including people leaving inpatient treatment or incarceration. Your clinician reviews your current treatment and plans the next steps with you. A refill or a particular prescription is not automatic.
