We started Grata because people we love were ready for help and still had nowhere to go.

They called clinics and waited weeks. They sat on hold. They got bounced from one place to another. In the moments when help mattered most, the system asked them to wait.

That felt wrong to us.

Grata exists for the moment someone decides they are ready. We believe care should move quickly, treat recovery with dignity, and stay with people after the appointment ends.
