Medication may be part of your care when clinically appropriate. Your history and symptoms guide that decision. If medication is prescribed, you can use local pharmacy pickup or delivery in 1–2 business days from prescribing, with shipping covered.
How medication delivery works ↗You stay with the same prescribing clinician, with follow-ups shaped around your needs. Support is available seven days a week, 6 a.m.–11 p.m. Eastern. Individual therapy is optional in Virginia and Ohio; Pennsylvania offers medication care and support.
Kratom leaf, extracts, and concentrated 7-OH products are not interchangeable. Bring the label or a photo to your visit if you can.
Kratom comes from the plant Mitragyna speciosa. Products contain compounds that can act on opioid receptors, and use can lead to dependence. The formulation and your pattern of use both matter when planning care.

Medication & therapy
Buprenorphine/naloxone, also known by the brand Suboxone, has been described in published case reports for kratom use disorder. These are limited reports, not proof of a standard approach for every person or every 7-OH product. A clinician should weigh your history, symptoms, and treatment options with you.

In Virginia and Ohio, individual therapy can help you work on the routines, stress, and triggers around use. You can choose therapy, medication when appropriate, or both. Therapy is never required to receive medication and is not yet available in Pennsylvania.

Yes. Grata offers online assessment and ongoing substance-use care for adults 18 and older throughout Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Your clinician will decide whether outpatient telehealth care fits your needs or whether you need care in another setting.
Most appointments are available the same day with the clinician who will treat you. Medication can be prescribed at that visit when clinically appropriate.
Published case reports describe buprenorphine/naloxone, the ingredients in Suboxone, being used for some people with kratom use disorder. That evidence is limited and does not establish a standard treatment for everyone who uses kratom or 7-OH. Your clinician considers your symptoms, opioid history, other medications, and goals before recommending treatment. A particular prescription is not guaranteed.

The FDA reports withdrawal symptoms associated with 7-OH including restlessness, body aches, fatigue, irritability, and cold sweats. Symptoms and care needs differ between people and products. Tell your clinician what you take and what happens between doses so you can plan the next step together.
FDA: Products containing 7-OH ↗No. Therapy and peer support are optional, and therapy is never a prerequisite for medication treatment. Individual therapy is available in Virginia and Ohio. Therapy is not yet available in Pennsylvania. You can also receive therapy without medication where it is offered.
Medication delivery takes 1–2 business days from prescribing, for first prescriptions and refills. Shipping is covered. Local pharmacy pickup is also available, including when you need a prescription sooner. Medication selection is a clinical decision, and pharmacy availability and insurance approval can affect fulfillment.
We ask for your ID and insurance information before the visit. Have the product name or packaging available if you can, along with your medications and a sense of how much and how often you use. No app download, labs, or in-person visit is required before starting.
Yes. Self-pay prescribing care is $199/month and includes weekly clinician visits, care coordination, testing, and seven-day support. Follow-up frequency depends on your needs. Therapy and medication are billed separately. Insurance is also accepted, and your team checks your coverage before the first appointment.
