Yes. Grata Health accepts Medicaid in every state we serve — including Cardinal Care (VA), Ohio Medicaid, and Pennsylvania Medicaid — along with most major commercial plans like Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and HealthKeepers Plus. Coverage is verified before the first appointment at no cost.
With patient consent, we send monthly progress notes covering medication changes, attendance, and any clinical flags — via secure messaging, fax, or your preferred method. You always know how your referrals are doing without having to chase records.
Our prescribing providers are licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants — all DEA-registered and credentialed to prescribe buprenorphine and naltrexone in the states they serve. Many have specialized addiction medicine training and experience with co-occurring conditions.
No. The DATA-2000 waiver requirement was eliminated in 2023, but even before that, referring providers never needed any special certification to send a patient to Grata Health. Just submit the referral and our team takes it from there.
